Gaziantep is a city of over 1 millions people located in southeastern Turkey. It is famous for its baklava, which is supposed to be the best in the world. One place that makes it, ships some to Turkey's president every day. I tried some there, and I must admit that it was pretty good.
Gaziantep has a large market. There are many shops that sell things from handmade copper plates to leather saddles and shoes.
Some of the old streets are so narrow that cars can not travel on them.
This kid was going to school.
I met some construction workers who were just getting started for the day. Even though we didn't speak the same language I stopped and talked to them for about 20 minutes and took a few portraits of them. Especially the ones at the bottom came out quite well.
You"ve got to see this!
