Ski to Sea Race

We had fun at the Ski to Sea race this year.
The leg that Anne and I did was an 18 mile paddle in a canoe. Luckily, it was down a river, so we did get some help. It took us about 2 hrs. 40 mins. of which I hated 2 hrs. 30 mins. of it!
The race ends at this beach in Bellingham, where all the teams wait for their sea kayak leg to finish.
Unfortunately, we ended up waiting for a long time at that beach. Unbeknownst to us, our kayaker had gotten hypothermia and ended up in the first aid tent.
I bet you'll never guess where I took this one. I like the colors. It's staying lighter, therefore, when class gets out, I can get some dusk pictures. Not that I've had the time, or room in my bag to carry my camera downtown lately.
