Dominican Republic- Part 1

I'll post pictures of my recent trip in the order that I took them in.
On our way, we had a one day stopover in Miami beach. Unfortunately, it was hard to enjoy it because I hadn't gotten any sleep on the "redeye" from Seattle. This was taken by the Art Deco district in South Beach.
Once in the D.R., we walked past this guy who was guarding something.
These were the stairs in the hotel we stayed at in Santa Domingo. Dennis nicknamed it the Bat cave. It turned out to be our favorite place.
This gentleman was the owner of the hotel we stayed at. He had a very gentle way about himself.
This man was relaxing and watching the streets in front of his house in Santa Domingo. It was probably in the 90s in the day and 70-80s at night.
