Cappadocia, Turkey

I can't believe it's been so long since I posted. Some friends and I recently took a long weekend in Turkey, were we ate lot's of good food, hiked many, many trails, and bought too many carpets. In case your curious, 8 carpets were purchased by our group, for well over 2000 USD. Anne and I only added two to our collection, however now we have 8 total and no idea where we are going to keep them.

Two really exciting ideas came from our trip. The first one is the least likely to ever happen. My friends and I want to buy our own house in Turkey. We can pick a lot and have a house built for approx. 50-70 thousand. That is a pretty good deal if you ask me.

The second idea I want to see get set in motion pretty bad. I want to write, publish, and coordinate the distribution of a hiking guide for Cappadocia. It's going to consist of maps with trails, photos, descriptoins, and advertising. I plan on making between 400,000 and 800,000 dollars a year off of its profits! Not to mention that I'll have to return to Turkey to gather imformation.

If anyone is interested in sponsoring this, or has any questions drop me a line.
