I took some pictures of my niece, Julia this weekend when I was in Yakima.

I really wanted these pictures to come out nice, but I quickly learned that there was no way to get a 1 1/2 year old to cooperate!

I took over one hundred pictures to get these.

It probably takes about 3 seconds for me to focus, frame, and shoot a picture. Julia tended to move about 1 time every second, so most of these shots are just luck and persistence.

I think that if I follow anyone around, eventually I'll get a picture of them that I like.

I'm going to be shooting another youngster in the near future, so this was a really good learning experience.

Luckily, she stayed in a pretty good mood throughout the afternoon.

We now return to advanced coverage of Patrick's DR vacation.
Dang! Probably the cutest baby I've ever seen! The pictures are great, Pat!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet. I love the one of her going down the slide. Kids that age are the hardest! I've learned to use my focus points, and back button focus, it makes it a bit quicker than recomposing after some practice.
